Long Purge Cycle (More Than 40 Seconds). One-Way Check Valve Is Defective.Partially Plugged Purge Orifice. Service Check Valve With Kit #DQ6020.Clean Orifice With .050 Drill Bit Or Wire.
Slow Wet Tank Build-Up. Plugged Filter And/Or Desiccant. Service Dryer With Kit #DQ6026.
Water Appears In The Wet Tank. Desiccant Is Full Of Dirt.No Purge Cycle.Purge Orifice Is Blocked. Service Dryer With Kit #DQ6026.See “No Purge Cycle” Section.Clean Orifice With .050 Drill Bit Or Wire.
Relief Valve Opens DuringOperation. Faulty Relief Valve.Line Restrictions. Replace Relief Valve With Part #KN31527.Replace The Line Between The Dryer And The Wet Tank If Damaged. Replace
Purge Cycle Causes Compressor Cut-In. Leaking Purge Valve Seals.Oversized Or Damaged LineBetween Dryer And Governor. Purge Valve With Kit #DQ6020.Line Should Be 3/16 I.D. Maximum.Replace If Oversized Or Damaged.
No Purge Cycle. Defective Governor. Disconnect Line From The Governor. Air Should Come From The Governor Line When The Compressor Unloads. If Not, Repair/Replace The Governor.
The Line Between The Governor And The Dryer Is Restricted Or Frozen Insure Line Is Clear Of Debris And/Or Water (Ice).
Purge Valve Is Stuck. Remove Purge Valve And Replace With Kit #DQ6020.
Air Is Leaking Constantly From Purge Valve. Purge Valve Seal Is Damaged. Foreign Particles On Valve Seat. Replace Purge Valve With Kit #DQ6020.Remove Purge Valve And Clean.
Purge Valve Is Frozen. Inspect Heater (See Section On “Heater Problems”).
Governor Is Faulty. Disconnect Line To Purge Valve. If Purge Air Stops And Air Comes From Governor Line, Repair Or Replace Governor.
Bad Unloader In Compressor. Replace.
Heater Is Inoperative. Fuse Is Blown. Check Fuse. If Blown, Replace With 8-10 AMP Fuse.
Broken Wires Or Poor Connections. Repair Or Replace Wiring To The Heater.
Defective Element Or Thermostat. Replace Heater Assembly With Heater Kit. (See Back Page For Heater Kit Descriptions).
Heater Stays On Continuously. Defective Ther5mostat. Replace Heater Assembly As Specified Above
